11 Things I Learned through Fashion | May 18th 2015
1. Dressing in all black doesn't make you goth.
2. You don't have to follow every single trend. Their here one second and gone the next.
3.We can't ALL be as flawless as Yonce.
4.Don't compare your style, closet, or self to anyone else...ever. You heard it from Naomi first and we all know she doesn't play.
5.When someone tries to give unsolicited fashion advice just hit them with the no thank you.
6.Don't try too hard.
7.Even the least fashionable, can become fashionable, like me who had no style in middle school.
8.I probably will never be able to afford a pair of these, and that's okay.
9.My nails will never look this good when I do them myself.
10.Natural is beautiful too.
11. Cher and Dionne were slaying high school with their wardrobe.
What has fashion taught you?

#OOTD Ideas | May 11th 2015
Some days are so easy for me to whip out a class A outfit. Other times I stare at my closet waiting for something to fly out at me...surprisingly it never happens. I wish I had the Hannah Montana spinning closet contraption because I wear the same thing due to the fact that all the clothes hanger are intertwined together like Kim and Kanye (#noshade I ship them).
------------------------------------------------
Honestly nobody in college cares what everyone else is wearing, and over half of the people wear workout clothes to class, even if they don't hit up the gym, which hey, do your thang. So usually I don't try that much unless it's a fashion class where I feel I need to display my amateur skills, and I didn't even have that this semester, but it's the summer now so #turnup. Anyways to the POINT! I put together some outfits you and I can go off of through out the week to give ideas, amp up the style, or show just how fabulous you already are.

Gingham Style | March 24th 2015
MINKPINK blouse / MANGO sleeveless top, $15 / Zara white top / Needle Thread black skirt / Black skirt, $8.95 / Zara blue jeans / Converse high top, $75 / Zara flat shoes / Black pumps, $52 / The Sketch Book / Lensflare, light effect / Paint drip brush / Paint drip brush / Coffee cup stain brush / Coffee cup stain brush
I am loving what is transpiring fashion wise with gingham this season. Gingham to me is the plaid of Spring and I am welcoming it with open arms. I like the print because it can go with so many things without being over-the-top, and it's a great center-of-attention piece. While, so many people will be rocking this trend, you can still make it your own and be oh so fabulous doing it. YAS QUEEN, YAS QUEEN.

Ink It | March 13th 2015
I have been wanting to get a new tattoo for a while now! I already have two and people are so right when they say once the bug is in you it's impossible to get it out! After I got my first one I said I wasn't gonna get anymore, but we all see how that turned out. I do always stick to the belief that it should have meaning. If something is gonna be a part of you for a lifetime, then it should be something that really speaks about you and to you. With that I leave you with some tips on getting inked and some tattoo inspiration.
Oh and happy Friday the 13th!
Here are some tips for getting a tattoo:
1. Know what you want before you go. It prevents a longer waiting time and making a rash decision by just picking something you may regret.
------------------------------
2. Make sure the tattoo artist opens the equipment in front of you, this is your body, your tattoo and you don't want to be put your health at risk by used needles and such.
------------------------
3. Don't overpay. Check around where you live and get rates. Most of the time it depends on what you get so know before you call.
------------------
4. Check and see if they do student discounts or military discounts because most tattoo shops aren't cheap and that can save you a buck.
---------------
5. Know where you want it because it's going to be there forever. Both of mine are on my wrist because I like to see them and are easily covered up by cardigans, watches, and bracelets.
--------------------------------
6.Get what YOU want, where YOU want it. When I got my elephant one of the guys told me it was dumb to get it facing me, after talking to the guy tattooing me I decided to get it facing me and am so glad I did. Tattoo artist are artist and they have great ideas, but if it's not something you like or want don't do it.

These are both of my tattoos. I don't really take pictures of them because they will most likely look the same. This is an hour after I got my elephant, and that was a few months after I got my music note.
They both mean a lot to me. I love elephants but not a lot of people see them as beautiful as say a lion or a giraffe. They have so much to offer from their resourcefulness to their memory. It reminds you to look on the inside to. The music note is kind of obvious, I love music and singing it makes me happy!
Do you want tattoos? If so what is it?

Oscar Looks 2015 | February 25th 2015
I love dressing up although I rarely do. I don't know how flawless I would look walking down the grocery aisle in a ball gown. However, watching others dress up for a night out almost makes me feel just as good...almost. Below are my favorite Oscar looks and dresses I wish to own one day.
Seriously how can you not love Jennifer Lopez's dress? Her style at awards shows is always memorable, good and bad, I always think it's good but then again they haven't hired me on Fashion Police yet....
Emma Stone is probably one of my favorite actresses, so I am probably bias to any of her outfits, BUT I really do like this look! It's elegant and the slit gives the perfect sliver of leg.
Chloe-Grace Mortez always is on point and I wish we were friends and raided each other's closets, more hers than mine. She always does elegance to a capital T!
Yes this floral dress worn by Bee Shaffer looks like it could be downstairs bathroom wallpaper and I love it! When everyone wears solid colors it's nice to see a bit of print, I mean it's the Oscars you have got to get wild with it. Anna Wintour is well Anna Wintour nuff said.
This a dress that I love just for the simple fact that it looks gorg on her. It fits her like a glove and looks like it was made for her. Personally I don't think just anyone can pull this off, so kudos to you Rosamund Pike.
I saw a lot of jokes about Lady Gaga's rubber gloves and I laughed because it was funny, but I still really like the look. More the dress than the gloves, but hey go big or go home!

My favorite celebrity couple looks as fabulous as always. If you have never seen Step Up you have to watch it, the first one of course. They are like a modern day Bonnie and Clyde without all the killing, stealing, and running part. I don't have much to say about the suit, I could probably say a lot about that gorgeous face, but I will spare you. The dress though is stunning and the plunge is immaculate tasteful. Well done Tatum family, well done.
This dress is not what I would expect at the Oscars, but the least expected is always better right? It reminds of something you wear frolicking through some flower field in France. This dress is modest, tasteful, and so Keria Knightly.
Since the Oscar's are over, can I have this dress? I don't have anywhere to wear yet, but I could definitely find somewhere. It's like a painting made into a ball gown and the detail is amazing. A+ Georgina Chapman.
This is what I call the LBD. The long black dress. The long black dress comes in handy at weddings, when you need to look good but don't want to shave your legs, and of course the Oscars. Kelly Ripa never disappoints and I am loving her bob.
This was by far my favorite makeup look, I may not wear it often but I know a good face when I see it and this is doing the most! Faith Hill sings amazing, looks amazing, and has really white teeth.

Fashion Week Favorites | February 19th 2015
Every year I long to go to Fashion Week and this year unfortunately was no different. It's kind of big to think of going to Fashion Week when I haven't even been to New York yet. I think my favorite part surprisingly isn't the clothes on the runway but the street style. Don't get me wrong I like the runway stuff to, but the street style is great because it's like gathering a whole bunch of jelly beans in one big bowl, the starburst flavors of course. Here are my favorites, there were a ton to choose from, so this is basically nothing! What is your favorite look and what would you wear to fashion week?
