Weekend Favorites...

Hello guys! Hope you enjoyed your weekend and are having a great first day of the week. Monday's are never my favorite, but it is a day closer to Friday and warm weather, which I am in dire need of. As per usual here are my weekend favorites from me to you!

I love the way calligraphy looks but can never seem to write it. This is one of those moments when I thought, why haven't I thought of this idea?! It's super easy and will have people thinking your handwriting is superb! Visit Julie Blanner to figure out how to fake it till you make it!

What better way to get into the spring spirit than to make a festive vase. This is great because you can personalize it and add an array of flowers in it, and it not be just one bouquet. Spring on over to Tried & True to make your own.

I have been wanting a new bedside table for the longest time. I think it's time to retire my old one, especially since the knobs keep falling off. I love this one not only because it has been transformed, but also because it looks very well made and luxurious. This kind of makes me want to refurbish my own now. Want to refurbish your's too? I have begun a new found love for potatoes and cumin. Potatoes are so delicious when oven roasted and that's why I love this recipe! Cumin is a great spice to use especially on rice, it adds a nice zesty, lemon type flavor. Whip on over The New Potato to cook this scrumptious side.

I haven't ready that many books where I love the character, but Babe Walker is hard not to love! If your in for a good book definitely check on White Girl Problems, also look out for her new book coming out soon called Psychos. What I really love though is her closet tour on The Coveteur. Check it out to learn more about Babe and relish in her witty humor.

One of the first blogs I followed was Song Of Style. I really loved her style and how she dresses how she wants to and takes chances. I don't feel it's ever one-noted and always seems like something new. Definitely check out her blog you won''t regret it! Oh, and the outfit is a definite favorite too!

Mini Lip Haul

I had to share this deal with you guys because it was pretty amazing. So I have been trying not to buy clothes, which I have been very successful at, but it's pretty hard not to buy anything! I was out with my madre and we came across 75% off already clearanced makeup at Kmart. I don't really wear makeup but I do love a good lip product. I got 9 lippies as well as 3 nail polishes for 9.26, which is really good because most of the time 1 lip product cost between 4-8 dollars depending the brand. Definitely head to your local Kmart and see if you can get some great priced makeup too!

P.S.- I got two of the same color so only 1 is pictured. I also gave away a nail polish, and that was included in the 9.26 price!

Hello all, hope you guys are having a great weekend! Today I am showing you a little office inspiration. I watch so much HGTV-more specifically House Hunters. Mostly everyone wants a nice office space when buying a house, or renting. If you work from home, or even of you  spend a good amount of time on the computer an office space is key. Also if you know your going to be in there a lot you want a nice space that meets your needs. Maybe you will find something to inspire you and give you nice task to take on this weekend!

Spring Break Ready: Day Style

1. A basic crop tee is great for a spring break trip; it can be paired with many different things and won't be that noticeable if you wear it more than once.

6. You don't want to be bothered with to much jewelry when going out for spring break. Keep it simple by wearing a chunky gold necklace. It dresses the look up but doesn't try to hard.

Weekend Favorites: March 2nd

Recently I have been finding so many mediums to place my jewelry in that I literally don't have enough jewery to fill them all. I love this box not only because it's a diy so it's customizable, but also because it has the felt holders inside (you will see what I am talking about when you visit the site) that makes finding jewelry ten times easier.  Skip on over to Almost Makes Perfect to make your own!

I love a good makeover and this house was transformed amazingly well. This is just the dining room, but you have to visit the site to check all the great transformation. I am a fan of night lights because nothing is worst than trying to make your way to the bathroom in the pitch black of night. This one is super unique and cool looking. So last semester I took Computer for Fashion and it was all about learning Photoshop and Illustrator. I went into it thinking it was going to be easy but it requires a lot of memorization and attention to detail. I still feel like I am a beginner on it! I love this post because it all starts at knowing the basics and if you know those it makes learning the rest a lot easier! If you have Photoshop definitely head over to Vanilla Craft Blog!

I love this bib necklace because it looks so elegant and expensive. I think I would feel like some kind of Egyptian queen in this. What's real interesting about this necklace is that it's made out of polymer clay! Again this can be customized to your liking and is fairly easy to do!
